Pam McIntyre Smith wants to be your state representative from the 94th District. A native of Middleton, five generations of her family have lived on or near the Hatchie River. Her grandparents, Arnold and Margie Bodiford, reared her. The Bodifords brought her up in the First Baptist Church in Middleton, gave her a faith to live by and taught her by example, to put that faith into action. That is why she is running for state representative. She shares your values and concerns. She is one of you and she believes she can make a difference. |

From CNN.com : (CNN) -- After enduring a week of political obituaries, Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign proved Tuesday that it still has some life.  Sen. Hillary Clinton says she is "more determined than ever to carry on this campaign." Clinton, as expected, trounced Democratic front-runner Sen. Barack Obama in the West Virginia primary. In the process, she underscored Obama's weakness with blue-collar, working-class white voters -- a segment of the electorate that may prove pivotal in November. Buoyed by her landslide margin, Clinton vowed to continue what has become a longshot campaign, telling supporters at a Charleston rally that she is "more determined than ever to carry on this campaign until everyone has had a chance to make their voices heard." Clinton's victory in West Virginia was decisive. She won men and women. She carried a majority of voters in every age group. She captured liberals, moderates, and conservatives. From CNN.com : (CNN) -- Despite an overwhelming defeat in North Carolina and a narrow victory in Indiana, Sen. Hillary Clinton vowed to stay in the race until her party has a nominee.  Sen. Hillary Clinton says it's "full speed on to the White House" despite Tuesday's results. "I, obviously, am going to work as hard as I can to become that nominee. That is what I've done; that's what I'm continuing to do," she said Wednesday in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
